THE MUPPETS REVIEW

A week before, WF suggested to watch upcoming new movie on Thursday. He given choices between New Year Even and White Vengeance. I chose the New Year Eve after watching both trailers. And I missed The Muppets screening due to I had class on that night.

*and some stupid penis -Mr.D didn't keep his promise to watch with me on Thursday. He even promised to accompany me to LCCT or fetch me to Serdang to my friend's house a day before my trip. His phrase " I already told you I can't confirm what." For him : can't confirm = can't make it. His pattern is to came out with lotsa excuses to defend himselves. Suan le bah*The lies and empty promises that he gave couldn't even fit my wardrobe. He needs bigger one like seriously. Hate me all you want now!

A day before Thursday, I popped out a question asking WF if it's weird to watch movie alone. He thought I am gonna ffk him at first. The reason I asked so was I wanted to watch The Muppets and he didn't feel like it so I thought of watching it alone in the afternoon. But, my pattern is always came out with 'wanted' but ended up 'didn't'.

On Wednesday night. WF called me up and informed me that he already bought movie tickets for the following day, 10.30pm. What made my night through the call was he said " I have bought the movie that you wanted to watch so badly." I was effing excited that I could watch this movie before my trip. #wishcometrue

Synopsis:

On vacation in Los Angeles, Walter, the world's biggest Muppet fan, and his friends Gary (Jason Segel) and Mary (Amy Adams) from Smalltown, USA, discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets' former stomping grounds. To stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino tribute band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a Santa Barbara clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate. -- (C) Walt Disney

Comments:

I like how the perspective came out with The Muppets are no longer popular among the kids nowadays and the idea of bringing them alive back.Besides that, it also included few interesting musical that makes me wanna sing along.

Moral of the story :
(1) togetherness can be anything happened
(2) Be your true self
(3) Friends and another half are equally important .

However, there were some coincidence that kindda not so make sense; for instance
(1) how they could able to find Kermit's house so easily.
(2) The reality show 'Punch Teacher' was being banned after The Muppets were asking for an opportunity to get on tv again.
(3) The show could be so successful without a proper rehearsal.

* I m loving all the outfits that Amy Adams wore in the movie; especial the red round luggage bag she brought to vacation.

Rate: 8/10
